PHYSICAL;;
Description: As can be expected, Schuyler's appearance reflects her mixed heritage. Her shoulder-length hair- usually tied back into a low ponytail- is stark white in color, and her eyes are the same pale blue as a clear sky. And, despite growing up in the desert, she's also very pale, but not unhealthily so. Luckily, she is typically able to pass all of this off as the results of leucism. At five feet, ten inches, she is above the average in height. Her build is slim and built for speed, made up entirely of lean muscle. All things considered, she's also rather attractive, with a heart-shaped face and softly angled features. Of course, she does have a number of scars from her work as an assassin and history as a slave- the most prominent being a thin, pinkish line that stretches diagonally across most of her left cheek, from next to her eye, almost to the edge of her lips, and quite a few long, raised scars left on her back and shoulders by whips. However, her preferred style of dress tends to conceal everything anyway. In keeping with her particular occupation, she is rarely without some sort of hood, as well as a mask to cover most of her face and a set of light, leather armor. Almost nothing is left uncovered, and most people can't even tell she's female until she speaks.
Weapons: Schuyler is never without her bow and arrows, as well as a number of hidden throwing knives. On occasion, she will also use poison, either alone or in combination with her arrows or knives.
Stats: Dexterity x2, Speed x1, Agility x2, Strength x1
Skills: Archery +25, Knife Throwing +25, Stealth +30, Acrobatics +15, Racial Bonus; Piloting +5
MENTAL;;
Personality: When all is said and done, this woman is no bright glowing ball of happy sunshine. By all appearances, Schuyler is the sort that pretty much hates the world and most everyone in it. She rarely, if ever, behaves as though she's in any sort of good mood, instead maintaining an overall annoyed disposition, viewing the world in general with a bleak resentment. She purposefully keeps others at a distance, for her own reasons, much preferring to keep to herself than risk being hurt or betrayed. As an overall rule, she does everything she can to avoid forming strong emotional ties with anyone, regardless of race. By keeping up a hardened, tough-girl act, coupled with a biting sarcasm that rarely knows any bounds, she is able to do so with relative ease.
It should be no surprise that she is rather insensitive to the emotions of others. For the most part, she handles them with a cold indifference. Since when is it her job to try to comfort the emotional? To her, any sort of remorse, fear, or self-pity is a sign of weakness, and she has no patience for those who display such feelings (nor will she admit to harboring them herself). She's also quite pessimistic, tending to see the negative side of things over the positive. She's constantly expecting the worst out of pretty much everything and everyone, and is the type to say 'I told you so' when things turn sour. At the very least, though, she's never surprised when things do go wrong, and can find more pleasure in them when her dismal predictions are proven to be false. To her, one can be the best prepared for the worst outcomes when they are already expected.
Strangely enough, Schuyler can be a very useful ally to those she deems worthy of her help. She is capable of actually caring for someone else, believe it or not, and will come to their aid when necessary. She'd never openly admit that she was trying to help, of course, and often comes up with excuses like 'I was just passing through' or 'I did what I had to' when her motives are questioned. In addition, her moral standards are surprisingly high. She doesn't like the idea of harming 'innocents'- people who have done nothing wrong to deserve whatever horrible consequence would come from doing her job. If a mission somehow puts this belief in jeopardy, she will refuse to complete it, and may even go so far as to prevent anyone else from doing it instead.

PAST;;
History:
Born into slavery and put to work almost as soon as she could understand basic commands, Schuyler was never told much about her origins- and after a while, she gave up asking. All she really knows is that she was never meant to exist. An accident. Even so, she had a very loving relationship with her mother, a Gypsy by the name of Katja who had been captured on the outskirts of Zazura about a month after the girl's conception. Of course, she was about the only person with whom Schuyler shared any sort of friendly feelings as a child. Although for the most part, her mother was able to maintain the benefit of the doubt for her, many of the other slaves, as well as the wealthy master of the house for which they worked, had their suspicions about her, and treated young Schuyler terribly for it. Of the lot, she was often given the most to do, and the one to receive the most punishment when she made a mistake or moved too slowly.
And by the time she was eight, Schuyler was entirely friendless; her mother had finally succumbed to a long-lasting illness brought about by being overworked. She quickly became the bitter woman she is today following the loss, and began having even more trouble with the master and the other slaves now that there was no one left to defend her. She frequently got into fights, and was beaten for it just as often. But no matter how hard they tried, no one was able to break her- although there was little time in which to do so before Schuyler was finally free of the place.
She'd tried escaping before, but each attempt had failed. At ten, she was just about ready to give up, but either chance or fate saved her. On a particularly quiet night in the house, Schuyler had been instructed to bring up fresh sheets for the master's bed before he retired. However, when she got to the room, she found an unfamiliar man pulling a knife out of his back. For a moment, both were frozen by the shock of encountering one another. Both broke the moment at the same time, one turning to flee through the open window, and the other issuing a desperate request born of a half-cocked idea; "Take me with you." By some miracle, the stranger paused to consider it. She was asked if she knew what he was and what he'd just done, and if she knew what she'd be getting herself into by going with him. A calm "Yes" and "Anything is better than staying here" was her response, and after a few more moments, he reluctantly agreed to bring her along.
Of course, the plan had been to part ways with her as soon as possible, but Schuyler had something a bit different in mind. And, after a great deal of persistence on her part, she convinced the man- named Mercer- to take her on as a sort of apprentice. From that point on, up until about four years ago, she was trained as an assassin. She learned how to sneak, lie, manipulate and, most importantly, how to kill. She started taking contracts at sixteen, and has earned a rather decent reputation since then. However, when she was eighteen, Mercer disappeared during a solo mission. She has no idea what exactly happened, but she suspects he was killed, otherwise he'd have contacted her somehow.
Although these days, the only person left alive who knows about any of this is Schuyler- she made sure of that long ago. And she's not about to tell anyone a thing.
OTHER;;
Other: Although she possesses no power over it, Schuyler still feels a very strong kinship with her element. One of the few things that can elicit a genuine smile from her is the feel of the wind on her face.
While most of Schuyler's contracts come from Lynessia, she will occasionally travel to Lemuria for a change of scenery.
