Black and white cinema has become quite the rage while photography has replaced hiring artists. Telegraphs are the main form of long-form communication, although the wealthiest may have telephones.
Transportation
Within cities there are coaches, manned by automatons, as transportation. Certain wealthy family possess cars, while the poor walk or take the tram (which are set on railed tracks).
Zeppelins are the main form of air transport and provide access to Axis Mundi. However small propeller-planes are sometimes seen, often used more as a weapon then a method of transport.
Trains connect to the major cities, however one may still take the paths through the Wilds by carriage. Most are afraid, for the paths can be raided by bandits or attacked by Aetheric creatures.
Steamships allow for transport across water.
Within Thule, most are transported by horses and carts. Within the flatter lands, there are some small trains, but in the mountains it isn't possible.
